Cordova Community Council sponsors four juried art shows at Rancho Cordova City Hall each year. I sit on the committee of artists who advise the Council themes for these on art shows (among other things), then volunteer to help Council staff make the events happen.
For 2016, we decided to pick themes that would be popular and attract lots of entries. It's working! 'Critters: From Aardvark to Zebra' brought in 120 entries, 102 of which will be in the show at City Hall from April 4 through July 15, 2016. The show will be hung in the first floor hallways, open during business hours.
Please join us for the Artist Reception, Thursday, April 14th, 5:30-7:30pm. Expect food, wine, live music, and opportunities to meet the artists and discuss their art!
